Role Overview
The PCCI Program Manager supports the North American Manufacturing (NAM) business unit by leading initiatives to reduce product cost and cycle time while enabling capacity growth. Reporting to the Director, this role drives collaboration across Mitsubishi Power Americas, suppliers, and global partners, including Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and Mitsubishi Power-Japan. The ideal candidate brings strong project management experience, technical knowledge of power generation, and a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams. Success in this role requires excellent communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to thrive in a multicultural environment.
Key Responsibilities

- Lead the Product Cost & Cycle Improvement (PCCI) program, including strategy, execution, and reporting.
- Collaborate with global teams and stakeholders to drive cost and cycle reduction initiatives across product lines.
- Develop and maintain cost curves, tracking systems, and dashboards to monitor progress and performance.
- Provide engineering and project management support to improve products, processes, and capacity planning.
- Facilitate cost transparency and alignment across quoting, estimation, and supply chain functions.
- Organize and lead summits, meetings, and cross-functional collaboration efforts.
- Conduct benchmarking and analysis to inform strategic improvements.
- Support strategic planning, reporting, and alignment with business objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years in the power generation service industry, or 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience in project management and equipment modifications is required. Six Sigma Greenbelt or Blackbelt certification is recommended.
- Skilled in process improvement, material flow optimization, and waste elimination. Able to train and lead teams across direct and indirect labor functions.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to lead and influence across all levels. Must be able to prioritize, delegate, and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in mathematical and statistical analysis, including interpreting graphs and applying advanced techniques like variance analysis and sampling theory.
- Experienced with project management tools, databases, spreadsheets, word processing, and statistical software.
- Willing to work extended hours including weekends as needed and travel 25-50% of the time.
