Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. in Savannah, Georgia is seeking a Part-Time Gas Turbine Technician to join our team as an Apprentice for up to one year. This opportunity is ideal for students currently enrolled in high school or a technical school who are looking to gain real-world, hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment — and potentially launch a long-term career with us.

About the Role

As a part-time Gas Turbine Technician/Assembler, you’ll work alongside experienced technicians to support the assembly of gas turbine components. This is a learning-focused role where you’ll gain exposure to precision manufacturing, quality standards, and safety practices in a high-performance environment.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with component preparation, subassembly, and final assembly tasks
• Learn and follow quality control procedures and safety protocols
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Observe and practice proper use of tools and equipment
• Participate in informal training and hands-on learning opportunities
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn

What We’re Looking For

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Enrolled in a technical or trade school program (either high school or technical college) with a completion date of May 2026 or beyond
• Strong interest in manufacturing, mechanical assembly, industrial maintenance or other industrial trades
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely in a team environment
• Good hand-eye coordination, and experience and interest in working with hand tools
