We are looking to hire an Technical Sales - Bid Project Manager at our Sutton, MA location.    

 

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Strategic plant concept development for Long Rolling Mills based on customer needs and requirements together with technology and engineering
  • Technical presentation and benefit arguments during customer visits
  • Technical negotiations considering the impact on the commercial contract
  • Project-specific creation of technical specifications and cost calculation together with the respective pre-project team
  • Responsibility for the project-related sales activities related to the technical clarification of the customer requirements, up to the conclusion of the contract and handover to the executive project management
  • Expansion and maintenance of long-term regional customer relationships
  • (Co-)development and implementation of customer acquisition strategies
  • Participation in market observation and market analysis
  • Data management with a CRM system

 

Education and Qualification

  • Completed technical training in a relevant engineering field
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in sales/project management/engineering of complex systems
  • Understanding of commercial and contractual principles
  • Basic MS Office knowledge
  • English - fluent in written and spoken
  • Willingness to travel (50%)
