Job Description: 

As an Advisor, Marketing Communications and Branding, here is what you’ll be doing at the core, day to day.

We are looking for an Advisor Marketing Communications and Branding with bold ideas that deliver value to our partners and advance our industry.  By joining MHIRJ, you will work with a flexible, dynamic, and united team.

 

Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Brand management, this candidate is responsible for creating, communicating, and promoting the MHIRJ Brand and Service portfolio to our internal and external audiences and target markets. 

  • Supporting the development of the Brand strategy for MHIRJ by identifying the product positioning, objective and key messages and preparing creative briefs.
  • Managing our online communities through our social media channels
  • Supporting the production and publication of content through the MHIRJ channels
  • Supporting the maintenance and update of our website
  • Supporting the production and distribution of material such as: promotional brochures, advertising for print and online within trade press as well as direct marketing, video and social media content.
  • Promoting our brand portfolio and educating internal collaborators on our branding strategy and its application.
  • Supporting MHIRJ brand initiatives and policing the brand applications throughout the company.
  • Supporting the creation of our Brand experience in marketing customer events, industry events, as well as working with other groups in including the Brand experience in other customer touch points.
  • Managing our digital assets, (photos, videos and graphic files).
  • Supporting the organization of photo and video shoots.

 

Here’s what is required to succeed as an Advisor, Marketing Communications and Branding.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field, graduate level studies are an asset
  • Minimum 3 years of marketing communications experience (internship experiences considered).
  • Strong understanding of social media algorithms
  • Basic knowledge of editing tools (Photoshop, Canva, Illustrator, etc.)
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Travel requirement of approximately 30%
  • Adaptability - flexible to work in a fast-changing environment.
  • Ability to work in teams as well as autonomous.
  • Curiosity and drive to learn and grow as a professional.
